Celebration and Gratitude for Federal Government’s Approval of IBUAM

We are thrilled to announce that today, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Federal Executive Council (FEC) granted provisional licenses to 11 private universities in Nigeria—including Isaac Balami University of Aeronautics and Management (IBUAM), Lagos!

As an esteemed outlet of the Isaac Balami Foundation (IBF), this milestone marks a new era of excellence in aeronautics and management education in Nigeria. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Federal Government for this remarkable approval and for recognizing the need to expand access to quality education.

This approval, announced during the Federal Executive Council meeting on March 3, 2025, fulfills founder Isaac Balami’s four-year aspiration to enhance education and aviation in Nigeria. (Legit)

Balami, a former National President of the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers, expressed gratitude for the support and aims for IBUAM to develop future leaders in the aviation sector (Daily Post).

“I have some good news to share. Four years ago, I had a dream. One borne out of sheer passion and determination to contribute my quota to our Nation’s development, particularly in the education sector. Today, Isaac Balami University of Aeronautics and Management was approved by President Tinubu. I’m so grateful to God and the amazing team behind this success story. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.” (The Sun)

The university is among eleven new private institutions recently approved to expand Nigeria’s higher education landscape (Leadership).

This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and commitment of all who believe in our vision. We look forward to shaping the future of education, innovation, and industry in Nigeria and beyond!

Thank you, Mr. President, and the FEC!
