Our Founder, Isaac Balami, was born and raised in the North Eastern part of Nigeria, a region ravaged by the dastardly acts of Boko Haram. Balami, an indigene of Borno state rose from a humble beginning where he sponsored himself through school by doing menial jobs like farming for neighbors and working on construction sites till he got a scholarship that saw him become one of the leading and famous aviators in Nigeria; as the former President of the National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers to establishing a leading aircraft maintenance hangar in west and central Africa. Having experienced the impact of abject poverty first hand, he vowed to commit over 50% of his entire income to supporting vulnerable families, children, youths and communities to escape most of the pains he experienced. This decision gave birth to Isaac Balami Foundation (IBF).
