The Isaac Balami Foundation (IBF) is thrilled to announce the list of successful applicants for the 2024 Aviation Scholarship program. After an extensive selection process that attracted a remarkable 814 entries, we are proud to award scholarships to 160 deserving Nigerian youths who have demonstrated exceptional potential and passion for the aviation industry.
This scholarship initiative, launched in honor of the founder Isaac David Balami’s 40th birthday, aims to empower young Nigerians through specialized training in four key aviation disciplines:
1. Aircraft Maintenance Course (Basic Technician & Type Rating)
2. Cabin Crew Initial Training
3. Flight Dispatchers Course
4. Aircraft Planners Course
The selection process was rigorous, involving multiple stages to ensure that only the most qualified candidates were chosen. Each applicant was evaluated based on their educational background, commitment to the aviation field, and the quality of their application materials, including CVs and cover letters as well as their performance during the interview session.
We are excited to welcome the successful applicants into the IBF family, where they will receive comprehensive training designed to equip them with the skills necessary to excel in their chosen fields. The training programs will commence from February, 2025, and participants can look forward to an intensive learning experience that will enhance their career prospects in the aviation sector. More details of the commencement date for the training will be communicated to participants subsequently.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the successful applicants and commend all participants for their interest in this transformative opportunity. For those who were not selected this time, we encourage you to continue pursuing your dreams and to stay engaged with IBF for future opportunities.
