Commencement of Tuition-Free Aviation Scholarship Programs for Nigerian Youths.
LAGOS, NIGERIA – February 1, 2025
The Isaac Balami Foundation is pleased to announce the official commencement of its tuition-free aviation scholarship programs on Monday, February 3, 2025. This initiative is designed to empower 160 qualified Nigerian youths determined to advance their careers within the aviation industry.
Scholarship Opportunities
The scholarship program will provide comprehensive training and certification in the following four key areas:
- Basic Aircraft Technician Course (BATCO)
- Manufacturer’s Type Course
- Cabin Crew Initial Training
- Flight Dispatchers Course (Basic + Advanced)

The Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to the individuals and organizations whose support has been instrumental in launching this initiative. The program is made possible through strategic partnerships with two Approved Training Organizations (ATOs): Aviatrix Hub and Leadstream Aviation. In addition, we acknowledge the invaluable contributions of our partners, including 7star Global Hangar, 7star Airlines, Isaac Balami University of Aeronautics and Management (IBUAM), and the Nigeria International Airshow. Their dedication to nurturing the future of Nigerian aviation professionals is pivotal to the success of this endeavour.

Good evening. I’m a graduate from Lagos State University. I graduated with 2:1 (Second class upper) in English and education and I have a very good communicative skill.
I’d be so glad if I was offered this opportunity.

I am Chidiebere Ohale an aspiring aviator keen to being a renowned Airline Pilot and further Certified Flight Instructor. I am a graduate of Computer Engineering and Computer Science currently a staff of University of Nigeria. I am 40 years old and do have passion and dedication toward pursuing a career in aviation.
However, funding has always been a significant challenge hindering me from actualizing this childhood dream, passion and goal of becoming a renowned Airline Pilot. My age can never deter or dissuade me from actualizing this goal and dream considering my zeal and love for aviation especially when given the opportunity and support to prove myself.
Knowing that this dream is highly capital intensive and I do not have the funds to sponsor myself at the moment, I will be glad to take advantage of full scholarship opportunities, financial assistance, sponsorships and support as this will go a very long way in my journey towards achieving and actualizing my aviation goals thus given me the opportunity to give back to life.
